Thanks Mike and Susan for hosting the Rock's Season's Greetings shoot. Yesterday's weather was downright cold, windy, some snow on the ground, ice here and there, overcast clouds and with high humidity left over from Saturday's all day rain. Nonetheless there were about 40-50 shooters doing the courses and I saw some really great shooting with side by sides. Good to meet up with and talk with many friends, and the Rock's food and deserts were excellent. I saw one Super-Fox shooting clays, on its way back home from a member's successful duck hunt in northern NY. I don't know for sure but I think my friend Lou was high SxS gun with 90 ex 100 using a 12-gauge Winchester 24. And that was after missing 3 wind blown birds on the last station many of you know as ""the cliff". I shot my Matilda an Ansley era CE Fox, started out well, but my asthma got really riled up with the weather conditions and I decided to quit early.. But on the plus side I moved some stuff I had for sale in the clubhouse. Overall a great time!
