You fellows are so very kind! I appreciate the feedback. I am looking forward to what the research letter has to say. I do also look forward to having many memories with this old gun but I sure wish it could tell me some of the stories it has seen over the past 112 years. I can only imagine! I think I understand what the “dolls head extension” is but I am still trying to figure out where the “ejector stop plate” is..lol. Please forgive my ignorance.. And Dean I do believe this is a turkey gun since chokes are 0.040” and 0.048”.. David, the wood is what convinced me to pull the trigger on this one!! Thank you guys for such positive feedback.
