Dean is correct. An artist's rendering that is devoid of identifying details. Even early paintings that specifically identify guns by make, at least to us, include some detail errors that we find amusing. However, look at the barrel lug on the picture being discussed. Definitely a Parker. The question is "Is it a rare Parker pigeon gun with no extension, or is the absence of extension rib an artist's trick to more clearly show the shell?" I lean toward the pigeon gun choice, because the position of the extractor suggests a non ejector gun. Almost all trap guns are ejector guns, but all no extension rib guns were extractor guns.
