I put in the letter exactly what the order book says (use his S.R. Butt). It could stand for solid rubber butt or Silvers rubber butt. Also interesting is that the order book has written in pencil P.G. when the rest of the order is in ink. The order books always show P.G. for grip type, never C.P.G. so you don't know if the grip type was capped or a round grip from the order book entry. The stock books do tell you if it's a C.P.G. or just pistol grip but in this case, that box is blank so I just put in the letter that it's a pistol grip. I'm only supposed to put in the letter what the records reflect, not guess or go by what the gun currently has.
