Spring steel is generally between 1050-1095. The parts shown could easily be cut from a solid piece of heat treated 1075 but the grain would not run the length of the spring and therefore would not have the same characteristics as a spring that was properly formed with correct grain direction. That being said these springs may do the job just fine and if properly fitted last a long time. It will be interesting to see how long they last.
