1) the engraving was done primarily using a programmed computer CNC or duplicator machine and hand-embellished.

3) Probably a duplication of guns sent to Japan for patterns to duplicate. It was probably not fully understood by the factory, Winchester, or even by Tom Skeuse that "Parker Bros." was not a transferred or transferable trademark.
