According to The Parker Story Volume I, pg. 142 the Parker trigger could be ordered in either the forward position or in the rear where the back trigger would normally be found, buyer's choice. Thus with 13 1/2 lop to the back trigger position probably not much was cut off the gun (probably one quarter of an inch) as it would be about 14" to where the front trigger would normally be as Bill noted and I mentioned previously. I imagine the gun had a pad at one time since the stock appears flat at the butt plate, and could be fixed with a nice pad.
