Cool First Parker a # 2 grade hammer gun ser #45689

Hello I am a new member with a new Parker 12 ga it is in fair condition the receiver is nice and the engraving is not bad at all. I was so supprised at the fine line engraving so delicate I just love it. The barrels are not so good pitted from old style primers just after the chambers. I am planning on saving this old gun buy having Briley install 20 gage tubes so I can shoot it at subgage events. The only other issue I found is the left hammer is louse it works but I want to have that fixed also do the fireing pins have return springs they seem to flop around I am used to guns with fireing pin springs. A recommended Parker gunsmiths would be a big help as I want to get the receiver serviced. It will make a wonderful gun when finished not a collector for sure but a treasure for me. I have a few old SXS shotguns and so enjoy breaking them out for a day of shooting all my shooting friends all younger (I am 76) line up to shoot them at the sporting range. They are not spring chickens most in 40s to 65 avid hunters. Only one has a SXS it is a 10 gage duck gun that he is planning to shoot a Turkey with this year.
