The cocking hook is, to my knowledge, a hand fitted piece to each Parker. I have found extra sets of barrels and before I try them on a frame I remove the cocking hook. Otherwise the barrels will not come off the gun and I must remove the bottom plate to disengage the cocking lever. I wish I knew the trick to fitting the two. Maybe someone else can explain it.
