As a longtime bear hunter/guide here in New Hampshire I can tell you that is a very big black bear. The best way to size a bear is to look at the ears. Small ears that are set low and wide apart on the bears skull denote a big bear. This guy has very small ears and the are set low and wide apart on his skull. He is all of 400 Lbs.
