The Double Gun shop post, I don't know about the accuracy of many things said there. Just look at the Ithaca Classic Double carefully and compare it to the Repro.. My assumption is that the Parker Repro will grow in value, I don't know about the Ithaca.
The DG post had the usual complaints about the Parker SST used in the Repro, and those were said by a person whom I like and have had many conversations with and I still think he ought to stick with his latest fancy, the Browning A-5 Sweet Sixteens. Every Repro SST problem I have seen is from sticking and doubling after oiling, so the owner oils the trigger more to correct the problem and it gets worse and pretty soon the thing doubles with every shot. I've mentioned to owners and its been posted here to never oil a Parker SST but there are always those who never get the word and then its the gun's fault. Sheese.
