gun looks fine as is...you did a nice job on the wood...no need to do any thing else cosmetic to it... have it checked by a smith and then if found safe, get some low pressure loads from rst or polywad and take it to the skeet range...have noticed, 7 1/2's seem to work best in these old guns, at least for me.

and, 16 gauge parker hammer guns rarely come to market...should you decide to sell it, contact me via private message for appraisal...meantime, enjoy this fine old gun!
