Chris,

Your Parker is listed in the "Book" exactly as you described it; 10 gauge 32" Laminated Steel barrels and capped pistol grip made in 1887. Laminated barrels were put on the highest grade Parkers prior to 1885 then they were used on the lower grades. Once we see pictures of your Parker we can tell you about what grade by the checkering, etc. I can tell you that it is most likely below a grade 3 or "D" because of the discription of the butt plate, but with Parker you could order most anything you wanted!
