A wash is better than not being able to move it as is (which I would gladly do). Have received a couple of auction guns that were "technically" as described. Then I found issues that complicate turnover. I have a deal with a local machine shop for when I get a loose sxs. I take them a box of donuts and they slap a little TIG weld on the hook and smooth the sides. I take it home and do that smokey VooDoo thing and file down until they lock up
. I can at least get my investment back to reinvest. This is my retirement side hustle.
