I have tons of Bismuth shot, mostly in sizes larger than I would generally use..... all I have to do is cut the 3.5" 12ga and 10ga shells open to get it. I cleaned a supplier out of everything he had in bismuth shotshells and got 8 cases for the price of just the shot at the time. You can carefully cut the case at the crimp and dump the shot + buffer then reload and crimp the shortened shell with lead shot for target or outhouse shooting. A bit of a chore though....
