Yes, they are built on gauge specific frames. I had a Guerini 28ga for a while. I sold it and bought a 12ga for clays. Kinda wish I'd kept the 28. They're not entry level guns, as they're fairly pricey. Well made. They have field models up through super fancy grades with lots of engraving and such. Various bells and whistles on different models.
