John,

What is the diameter of the hole in the hose of the forend?


That forend looks longer than the others. The bolt you have in there is likely normal length. I find it hard to believe that they would not have used one that is the proper length fpr the forend. And the slot should be timed on it. Up and down.

If in fact it is longer, you likely will have to make a new one that is of the right length. Unless there happens to be enough thread to allow a spacer to be used.
