The only recoil pad listed in the 1912 Schoverling, Daly & Gales catalog is the Silvers recoil pad with the spur. By the 1915 H & D Folsom Arms Co. catalog the American made Grieb Recoil Pad, very similar to the Silvers was also being offered. By the 1916 H & D Folsom Arms Co. catalog the number of players in the recoil pad market was exploding. Jostam was organized in 1914 and their Anti-Flinch recoil pads were being offered as well as the Huntley, the Goodrich and the Perkins recoil pads.

As for a "letter" on a Flues Model Ithaca, Walter has sent all his Flues era records to Cody. Who knows how long it will be before, or if ever, they add Ithaca letters to their offerings.
