Phil - that’s definitely a Remington Ilion restock - the drop points are a dead giveaway.
It looks to have a Miller SST, a Remington era bead and the wood is American black walnut, not Circassian walnut as Parker Bros. would have done.

That all coupled with cyanide case colors kind of supports that it is likely a total Remington re-do.
Incidentally, the forend checkering pattern is that of a GH.

I would also lift a d turn the trigger guard and look for a tell-tale “LDG” stamp in the channel in the wood.
