My example is a hammerless. It is still in as found condition and quite dirty. If you will PM me with your email address I will send you some pictures. I did not have time to disassemble the cocking bar to get dimensions but possibly can at a later time if needed.

The mechanism is very similar to the sliding cocking bar in the A.H. Fox, Baltimore Arms and 3rd model SyracuseArms doubles. The sliding bar goes forward under spring tension when the forend is removed. The forend has a bar extension that mates the sliding cocker.
