Default Restocking a VHE 12g. for fit.

This VHE 12 belongs to a woman who wanted to use it as her primary shooter. It is a nice example of a 1-1/2 frame 1929 utility gun. But, the original buttstock had been cut down very short. To about 12.5" at the wood and then had a 1" pad on it. It was still too short for her to comfortably shoot.

She had me restock it to her specified dimensions. 14" LOP over a period correct pad. 1-1/2" and 2-1/4" drops. 3/16" cast off.

Grade appropriate walnut was used for a later VH. Original stock was worked over to get a good pattern for her dimensions. The forend finish was pretty dry so it was freshened up and checkering recut.
