there should be directions on the tub, but mine says for bleaching disolve the 12 oz's in a gallon - or 3 OZ (a generous talespoon is an oz) in a quart of hot water.

personally - I would try it just a litle diluted first - and go to the full strength if the results are not enough.

by the way - here is the difference pre and post bleach in the canoe

as for use - brush it on, let it sit for about 10 minutes and rinse it off a couple times with cold water, I rub a little baking soda mixed in a gallon on hot water to neutralize it after use, rinse that off good to keep a white film from showing up.
