Your question(s) can be answered if you go to the main PGCA page at parkerguns.org and click on the links at the left side of that page. The "Parker Grades" link will show you variations in checkering (no pitch info though... someone else here can help with that) and the "FAQ" link to find a gunsmith.

Checkering LPI gets finer as the grades get higher and on some guns there are two LPI used.
