Thanks for the pictures - you have confirmed my suspicions that serial numbers on water tables may have been stamped to be read from the opposite side of the gun than we are accustomed to do.

So, if the serial number hadn't been stamped on the right side water table of 066 or 66 and only stamped in reverse as illustrated in your picture, on the left side water table..... they could easily be read as 99 and 990....
