Default nh bird

1st of 2024 nh turkey. started out with light rain in AM. birds were not working to well they seem to shut up when everything is wet and head to the fields. after a few set ups and a few birds did work but were hened up. At 10:45 i wen by a field that had 3 hens and a tom. i have a hour and 15 mins left to shooting is over. went down in the woods set up and started calling. hens were squawking up a storm but no gobbles, all hens maybe?? call for about a hour hens came closer than 1 gobble! as the hens got closer he was in tow full strut at 60 yds. hens passed, perfect he was at 50 yds i am guessing . i have 12 mins on the clock. he moved in a little more 45 yds?? just than hens started putting well now or never , his went up at the putts. i shot him with my 32 inch F/F NH 10 ga with 1 1/2 oz of 6's. he dropped like a stone. 20 lbs 9 1/2 in beard with only 3/4 in spurs. now to get number 2
