Never heard of them either. I have suits like that but mine are all 100% nice scratchy wool, which I only wear if I'm going to be out all day in temps of -40F or lower. They're essential when it gets to -50F I can tell you. They're especially good for cold weather flying or snowmachining. We haven't had much weather like that around Fbx for years and I hide inside when we do so they're packed away pretty deep these days. I bought my best and heaviest ones in 1976 in Whitehorse in the Yukon and got the last 100% wool set they had as the company was changing to 80%. I love those things! They're about 3x as heavy as the usual light weight suits and nice and scratchy.
