Just back from trying out 23.5 gr of 800 X and 1 oz of shot in AA cases. Performed flawlessly in 65 degree weather. As others have described, barrels are dirty, but I don't care - will clean them regardless. I like the lack of recoil.
BTW, shot at the recently opened Bald Mountain Michigan course near Pontiac. Still a work in progress, but it is a slick track. Three traps at each of 14 stations, plus 5 stand and an "executive" type of 5 stand. Easy targets.
If you're in the area, I would recommend a trip there. Shot with Jay Gardner and a friend. Jay's refurbished 28 gauge Repro by Batchelder is a gem.
