Default Flea market fun...

Well, it's not Friday but...my daughter and I headed out to the local monthly flea this morning. She passed on a few items - a beautiful Indian-made bracelet (seemed a bit over priced to her, and she knows this stuff), a collectible pendant (same thing), a really cool 1930's table model radio that worked perfectly (she and her fiance both work in radio and are buying their first house so it would have been a neat thing for them to have but she and the seller couldn't get together on price) which she's still have non-buyer's remorse over, etc.

Me, I came away with these vintage Simmons shooting glasses in perfect shape (clear, amber and green lenses in original case and even the original cleaning cloth), an Outers rifle cleaning rod in its cardboard tube, TWO Acme Thunderer whistles (I mean, I have three already, but it IS the quintessential bird dog whistle), a few assorted old fishing tins, and a neat log motif pipe rest (pipe not included), and had change left over from two twenties. I think I did OK...
