The Hammer gun has 30" barrels

does "two bolt" refer to the lockup on the guns action? |
Yes. According to Walt's book, in 1915 Ithaca came out with the "new two bolt hammer gun" which was a new lock mechanism. This replaced the old hammer gun of 27 years. I believe only about 300 two bolt guns were made in all grades before production of hammer guns ended.
