Some wiggle with forend off.

I know this has been kicked around before. Unfortunately I don’t remember the consensus. If a parker lever is straight and tight with the forend on. Is there any concern with it being slightly loose with the forend off.
I believe its not an issue but thought I would check.

IMO it’s not a cause for concern. If there is any wiggle with the forend on it indicates the gun is off-face.

You dont shoot the gun with the forend off

I agree and I assured my friend I would not hesitate to shoot the gun this way. He was concerned this might foretell something that should be addressed early.
I felt obligate to post to get other opinion's in order to reassure him this is not something to be concerned with. Just shoot it and keep an eye on it.

The forend is kind of the final piece of the puzzle in the guns lockup fitment. So to determine how a guns lockup is, it should be on the gun.
