Wanted: .410 Barrels for 28 Gauge Repro

Did anyone buy a set of .410 barrels from Tony and not get them fitted to a gun? Let me know. I would be interested in buying them.

I, too am looking for a set of .410s that can be fitted onto a 28 ga.

Do we know of an approximate number of .410 barrel sets CSMC actually produced to be fitted to Parker Reproduction 28ga. 00-frames? I know of only two such sets, both have been reported and discussed here in this sub-forum, are there more out there?

Yes, there are more, and I am looking for a set.

Bill ,I do not have what you are searching for and don't want to steal your Thread but I have a question ,does anyone know how many 28/410 Gauge Reproduction Sets were actually produced ? Also were these OO Frame or OOO Frames ? Thank You ! Russ

There were even a few .410’s stamped as 0000-frames though actual frame dimensions mat prove to be otherwise.

I believe it’s been said there were 31 410/28 gauge sets made. Mine are on 000 frame.
Correction, my 28/410 reproduction has 0000 stamped on the 410 lug and has F stamped on the 28 lug. My 410 VH is on a 000 frame.
Sorry for the mistake, it was 4:20 am when I posted the original.

All (one barrel, .410 only guns)were made on 000 frames and all I have seen are marked 0000. I don't know how Tony's .410 Repro barrels were marked, but they are 000 frame size. Excuse my error in the first sentence, which has been corrected.

The 28-.410 Repro set that I own is built on a 00 28 ga frame. The .410 barrel frame is wider, the barrels are spaced wider, the rib is wider and the .410 barrels do not touch at the terminal end. As a result, the .410 barrels are infact heavier than the 28 ga. barrels; both are 26". The .410 repro barrel lug is marked 0000, but they are 00. This is not the case with my original 28 and .410. My V-grade .410 is marked 000, narrower frame, narrower rib and barrels touch at the terminal end; barrel wgt 2-8. My V-grade 28 is marked 00 and barrel wgt 2-10; again both 26". Hopefully this helps with some of the aforementioned questions.

Mike, sorry for my error in the first sentence of my post, now corrected. Of course, you are correct, the 28-.410 combos were made on the 00 frame. You have mentioned something that I and maybe others were not aware of. The .410 combo sets were, by your description, also marked 0000 and were actually 00 frames. I have never inspected a combo set but I have looked at a bunch of one barrel .410 guns, which were also marked 0000.
