That's a beautiful piece of work. Here's the medal they awarded to someone at the 1926 Philadelphia Sesqui-Centennial. From my grandfathers 'stuff'. He sold a lot of Pennsylvania coal back then; perhaps they gave it to him. Have no idea. Maybe Globe or Ward or Pittston Coal Co?

Bruce, That medallion would go good with my 1876 centennial gun, will try to find the pictures Gary

Gary,
What a wonderful Parker. That is one I would go out of my way to see and you are right, it would be something to see it with that medallion too! |
Robin has it right Gary. Gorgeous Parker, thank you for the pictures.

The medallion is in pristine shape too! and I have never seen one before, has any body else seen one before, Bruce is this yours? Gary

Didn't mean to overlook the medal Bruce in my first comment as it is super cool and would be a highlight in any Parker presentation! I had no idea they were out there.
Your medal, Gary's Lifter, would either alone or together make for a nice cover for the Forum or a Parker Pages or, with your permission, a great screen saver! Thanks for sharing gentlemen! |
