Is there any way someone can permanently keep themselves from getting thread subscriptions on this forum ?

I get tired of having to delete thread subscriptions each and every time I post something . And then it's even more bothersome when I forget and get an email telling me some responded to this or that !

did you try going to the "user cp"

then list subscriptions

and over on the right, on the top - uncheck the top most notification box

Click on "User CP" and then on that page click on "Edit Options" and set it up as you wish. Your default option is to notify ......

Excellent I clicked the no subscription thingy so that should remmedy the annouance !

And I checked after posting the previouse message !

All is good in Parker Land tonight !
