Just got home from Pintail Point! Danny and I had a fantastic time as usual. I was great seeing old friends and making a few new ones. Friday and Saturday was very warm with temps in the high 80's to low 90's but we shot a bit on Saturday. The annual meeting was the best yet!Seeing the three Invincibles again was a real treat. Here are a few pictures to enjoy and I posted an album for all.

Also I would like to take moment to thank all the members that work so tirelessly to make this event a huge success year after year. Dean and Kathy Romig along with Larry and Debbie Frey who put together a great silent auction in their first year of doing it! Allan Swanson who put it all together year after year and consistently made it better year after year. So many members who really go over the top to make us what we are Jim Hall,Charlie Herzog,Tom Wooden, Mark Conrad and many many others to numerous to mention and to all the members who buy tables at our tent to display their fantastic collections you have my sincere thanks....

I hope this thread turns into a "Work in progress".....:)

Thanks Dave. It is the hard work and participation of everyone that makes these events so successful. Along with the usual event coordinators who have been responsible for the great successes in the past as well as this year's event there are other new volunteers who helped a great deal in making this year's event as successful as it was. Marilyn Herzog's recommendations of steps to be taken in the entire auction procedure were invaluable and we might have made a mess of it without her experience. Your help, Dave, along with Danny's and Adena Loensteiner's really smoothed things out and helped to make us all look like we knew exactly what we were doing.... I guess that's what teamwork looks like - everybody pulling for that common goal.

Dave,
I agree, this year’s annual meeting was in many ways the best that I have ever attended. The bad part about trying to name the many individuals who put this event together is that you undoubtedly leave people out so I would like to just say thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this years banquet a great success. And that includes the folks from the NRA and Charlie’s Aunt Henrietta.:rotf:

And thank you to Kevin McCormack for playing the part of Aunt Henrietta at the Annual Meeting. He is surely a man of many talents.
