New member from Huntsburg Ohio
Thank you for adding me to the group! I have collected doubles for years. I just picked up my first Parker. It is a VH 16 gauge on a “0” frame. Come by accident, didn’t know what I had until I got home. Extremely nice refurbish on this 1901 gun. But one issue, someone had broken the forearm. I hope to seek my best course of action for this gun thru the input of you knowledgeable folks. I will post in the proper area for the repair options on this gun once I figure out how to attach pictures. I am not selling this one, I want to shoot it! It locks up safe tight. Thank you again for adding me and I look forward to further discussions. Ed Malovic

ED,
I live in Bristolville just a few miles from you. I too have a 16 O frame. I just shot yesterday with the Buckeye Vintagers at their SXS shoot. I didn't use the 16, I took my Parker Trojan 20 ga. Hope to hear from you. Ken Jones |
Hi Ken, I did not know about a vintage style shoot in this area. How do I get a hold of you?

Welcome Ed, where in Ohio is Huntsville, although I now live in Wheeling,Wv,
I grew up in Belmont County, still work there in Martins Ferry, and have a 170 acre farm in Belmont, Ohio--also went to THE OSU. I have 4 16 ga Parkers, 3 are O frame. Good to have another Buckeye on board! Ken, didn't know there was a Buckeye Vintagers, tell us more--whwere was the shoot? Darn, sorry I missed it. |
Harold,
It's Huntsburg not Huntsville. It is east of Cleveland. I don'rt really know much about the Vintagers. I saw a flyer for their shoot posted at the Cardinal Shooting Center north of Columbus so I went. I'm glad I did, because I met people that have the same interests in SXS guns as I do. We shot a round of sporting clays. I'll look for the info and try to post it. Kenny |
