Partridge cutlets with spatzel

This was a new discovery/experience whatever you care to call it . I didn’t make spatzel but used some I bought on Amazon. I rarely say my own cooking is good I prefer basing what I say on how other folks seem to like or dislike it . This however was rather tastey . I made enough for I think 2-3 people and ate it all . Think I’ll make this again this week at the shop for the minions and get their reaction !

Spaetzle is like bacon, it makes everything better.

The store bought spatzel made wasn’t bad , but in no way was it as good as the spatzel you get at the Bavarian Chef in Shelby VA . Think I’m gonna borrow a friends spatzel maker thingy and try making some from scratch after I use up what I have . This same thing will most likely be tried with pheasant breast and quite possibly with quail breast down the road .

I don't have a spaetzle press so I use a colander with the biggest holes I have. Pour the batter into the colander and press it through. Easy peasy.

I bought a spaetzle thingy doodle on Amazon for like $14. Works great. What a mess though. I just use a bag of big ass buttered noodles a la Amish style. I find that more better. :)

Well I made it again today at the shop . Made enough of day for 6 or 7 people . There were four of us here and it’s all gone . My thoughts the other night musta been correct !
