8 to 10
theres always talk of sending a 20 ga back to have 28 ga barrels added to it or a 12 ga to 16 gain other words a lot of these gauges had extra barrels added to differant gauges...my question is was there ever a 8 ga that had added barrels of a differant ga to it...i v been meaning to ask this question for a while...charlie

Yes. My 8 gauge has 10 gauge barrels for it somewhere. Wish I could say I have them

There are 6-frame 10 gauge guns that make us wonder, but there are no records to support a barrel change.

I remember seeing a #6 frame P grade at a gun show in Northern Va a few years back.
Gun was an eight gauge then sent back for 34" fluid steel 3 1/2 " chambered 10 gauge barrels added to it. If memory serves me the 10 gauge barrels were stamped 8 14. I believe one of our members now has that gun and makes reference to her from time to time. |
I dont see why not. Especially after the 8g ban on waterfowl rendered the guns to be for such limited use.

What happened to them Mills?

I don't know, but would like to. I bought it from Puglisi and they did not have the 10 gauge barrels. I presume it changed hands a time or two between Julia's and Puglisi and somebody kept the extra barrels.

My #6 frame Vulcan Steel ten gauge was made as a composite barrel 8 gauge. It is the gun Dr. Pruitt refers to.
