PGCA Name Badges

1 Attachment(s)
I am working on a permanent name badge with a company that seems very user friendly.
It will be hard plastic for weight and durability.
It will have two pins that push through the material you are wearing.
It will be reasonably priced and the more people who sign up, the lower it will be.It will run from $3.25 to $8.90 depending on options and quantity mostly. I will probably round up the cost to an even dollar amount and give the extra to the PGF.
It will be reasonably sized.
If this goes forward I will bring them to the annual meeting or mail them out but that will cost you.
I will pay the vendor and collect money.
It will look similar to this draft but the text of your name and home town will be under the open gun and the words Parker Bros Makers Meriden Conn will be removed.
I am having a little difficulty getting a high resolution scan of a virgin Parker Post Card circa 1905.
So I can gauge interest, who would like to get one of these?

I am in, made up tag to wear to New Years shoot and how did that work out? I think it is handy for those that do not know me and makes it easier for all.Thank you for doing this.

edgarspencer 05-03-2018 05:25 PM

That looks pretty nice, George. I would, however, prefer it had my name on it, not yours.:rotf:

James L. Martin 05-03-2018 06:12 PM

I’m gonna have fun with your badge.
Maak Maakeeney is how it will look.

Mike McKinney 05-03-2018 09:27 PM

How could I argue with you, George? Maybe I’ll take two, one for the southern appearances and one for the north.

Daryl Corona 05-03-2018 09:43 PM

Pay no attention to those Yankees Mike. The south will rise again.
Oh... pencil me in for one too.

Dean Romig 05-03-2018 10:41 PM

Sign me up for a couple of them George, and one for Kathy and one or my grandson Cam Leeds.

By the way, what are the dimensions?

George

Contact Charlie Herzog, if I recall correctly Charlie has the original creation, in color, that his daughter copied of the single Parker & woodcock. His cell number is 573-883-0090 and home number is 573-883-5620.

Allan

George M. Purtill 05-08-2018 08:57 AM

Allan
I talked to Charlie today and he doesn't have it. He said it was decades ago.
But thanks anyway. It was nice to chat with him but he was busy planting turnips.

Chuck Bishop 05-08-2018 04:05 PM

I'll take 1.

Kevin McCormack 05-09-2018 08:58 AM

George, are you using the digital file I sent you? The colors are vivid and the layout is ideal for the addition of individual names. A reproduction could be manipulated in a variety of innovative ways by a printer/signage outfit.
