New Member from Sterling, VA

I am a new member, Rob Sanderson, who was recently passed down a Parker from 1919. It was bought by my great grandfather after he retired from the railroad as a gift for himself. The gun has not been fired in 50 years. It looks to be in good shape.
I wanted to go shooting with it on targets, any tips on getting her ready and anything else a new member should know at a high level. Thanks |
It would always be best to have the gun checked out to verify it is safe to shoot. I notice that the buttstock on the gun is not factory original. But it appears to be serviceable and would likely not be a concern from a shooting standpoint.

Thank you

See Sandy Garrett at Northern Virginia Gun Works in Springfield, VA if you want to get your gun checked out. He's worked on several of my SxS shotguns.
