I sincerely hope that Vintagers continues. And the thought of an alliance with Game Fair is a good one. So is some co-op with the Southern. I just wish the Fall Southern was a month earlier myself.
Candidly, I think the Spring and Fall Southern events have upstaged Vintagers in many ways. And are pointing the way to salvation of Vintagers. Just think. Vintagers could be held in a Red State for once. |
New England needs a quality double gun event (or two) and hopefully something will get started back up.

Dover Furnace, just across the NY line from New England, is a really nice facility, according to Vintage Cup attendees last year. That is central enough for the entire Northeast. I sure hope someone gets something going there.

Dean, There has been talk of that....

Since the news of the VC, we are toying with the idea of moving our shoot from Sept 3-6 to Sept 24-27. Stay tuned. If not in 2015 we may "pull the triggers" on moving it in 2016. |

I personally would hate to see us loose the Vintage Cup. It would be great if it could be continued, modified. resurrected again in some fashion.
Is there a contact person with the Vintagers to talk to? |
Last I heard it was a person by the name of John Chudzik. I have no idea what his contact information might be.

Hmmmm… The Vintage Cup. Brought to you by:
Shooting Sportsman Double Gun Journal Garden & Gun The Field And the scores of vendors who show up to sell stuff (God bless 'em!) |
Just curious, as I have not paid much attention to it since it left Maryland, but did they every consider to bring it back to Pintail Point? The location is quite central to all vintage shooters in the East.
