I won't lie. I ordered on last week. Not in hand yet, but should be a deal.

Nice looking O/U, and it seems like a good value to.

I just got one the first week of January and shot it at some clays Monday. Pistol grip 28" barrels, wood upgrade and recoil pad. Wonderful.

I don't understand CSMC's pricing. I bought one of the early Inverness guns for something around $2700, and the next thing I know they have repriced the gun to about $9K. Turns out the gun didn't "talk to me" so it went down the road for a bunch more than I had in it. Thanks, Tony!

I'm not complaining about the price of my Inverness, nor would I complain about $1995.00 for the latest entry. Kenneth seems to have struck gold with his upgraded wood.

Thanks Bill, I drug my feet years ago when CSMC offered the launch addition of the RBL and had been sorry since. This offer for an American made gun at the price seamed to make sense. I've tried a lot of different guns for bird hunting in my life, I like sxs mostly but I enjoy an O/U too. I went with the wood upgrade because I probably won't hunt with it.

I've also got an early RBL (#198) with exhibition Turkish on it. Great gun. That gun is why I opted for the Inverness, but it didn't excite me like the RBL

I should have bought the RBL Pro Hunter when they first were introduced. Can't touch it today for anywhere near that price.

I wish I had bought one of his Fox guns when they first came out. What barrel length did you choose? I think 30's would be awesome on the clays course or for pheasants and doves.

Milt Fitterman 02-23-2019 06:31 PM

I have an Inverness with 30" barrels. I cannot say enough for the feel. The same with the RBL 28g. however the RBL 20g. does not do anything for me although I have one also. Customer care has been top notch even when I was the cause of the problem.
