The only structure standing on dad's place when he bought it was a one room sharecropper cabin. Went through several carpenters before we found one who agreed to restore it. That carpenter was rewarded with the job of building their house later.

Dust Bowl victim? Gone to California? In the affected area.

A glance at times past...............hopes, dreams, I guess that's why we like hunting with old guns !

I really like the stone homesteads and buildings in KS. Post rock country is definitely a place to see.
