"Freshened" Up Lifter
2 Attachment(s)
Here is an 1880 Lifter that Brad refinished the barrels along with the stock and checkering. Gun is a dollar grade 2 equivalent, #2 frame with 32" barrels. The research letter mentioned the person who ordered it and they ran for governor of Ohio in 1896(though they didn't win).
I have been meaning to post some pictures since I got it back several months ago. I had some fun shooting it yesterday and wanted to take and post a few pictures. |
Very nice! That is what I like to do with some of my old guns - "freshen" them up

We saw that beauty at Addieville a couple of weeks ago, right?
Very nice! . |

Hi Dean,
This is actually a different one...don't tell my wife though ;) Had I thought of it though, I would have brought it to Addieville. This gun also came with 23 Parker brass shells and some loading tools. I posted a few pictures when I got it 2 years ago. Here are a few pictures for comparison. |
Nice gun even before it was freshened!

Very nice. There is something about the lifters that stirs the soul.
