Lost my best buddy. He was a loyal companion and great family member

Phillip Carr 06-11-2019 12:04 AM

Steve what a beautiful dog. I’m truly sorry for your loss.

steve bryan 06-11-2019 07:36 AM

Thanks Phil, he really was and had a great disposition and personality to match his good looks.

Daryl Corona 06-11-2019 07:40 AM

I know that feeling of loss all too well Steve. He was a beauty but I know he had the best life with you.

Gary Laudermilch 06-11-2019 09:18 AM

So sorry to hear of another one lost. He will live forever in your thoughts. I wish somebody would discover an anti-aging pill for dogs.

Garry L Gordon 06-11-2019 12:30 PM

Being owned by a dog provides some of life’s most bittersweet moments. Fortunately, the bitterness of loss lies between the sweetness of life and the memories. I’m very sorry for your loss.

Mills Morrison 06-11-2019 12:53 PM

Sorry to hear the news. We lost our lab Gator about this time last year.

Mark Ray 06-11-2019 04:20 PM

So sorry to hear. My two Vizslas, Hobbs and Raider are just now turning 9, and I am already dreading parting with them.

Like most of us here, we have all gone through this way too many times. The only salve I know for it is a puppy!

So sorry for your loss. Kiplings "The Power of a Dog" seams a little self centered, but this one I like.

Chad Hefflinger 06-11-2019 05:25 PM

My heart goes out to you Steve.

Robert Rambler 06-12-2019 08:27 PM

So sorry to hear of your lose. The sorrow of their lose only lasts a while, the memories of the life they shared with us lasts forever.

Matt Valinsky 06-13-2019 10:22 AM

It's never easy is it. Sorry for your loss.

Gary Carmichael Sr 06-15-2019 10:50 AM

Matt said it right It is never easy! Grieve a while and get another pup, Gary

Jeff Christie 06-24-2019 08:24 AM

Gary- Great advice! We did just that. We're picking up a new puppy in about 4 hours. Then the fun begins. Jeff

Mills Morrison 06-24-2019 09:51 AM

That is the best thing to do.

Rich Anderson 06-24-2019 12:38 PM

Steve I'm truly sorry for the void in your life. As someone else said we have all gone through it. I've said goodbye to 5 in the last 12 years or so and it never gets any easier but we sign up for it every time a pup comes into our lives and the love, companionship and loyalty all make these moments of grief bearable.

You and your family have my deepest sympathies.

steve bryan 06-24-2019 10:01 PM

Thanks so much Rich,... as you know, they become so ingrained in our daily lives that they are family members with a fur coat.
