Safety Check On Refinished Barrels

I recently purchased a GH 20, 28" barrels, full/modified, manufactured in 1933 that had the barrels professionally refinished. I noticed the thickness of the barrels ends appear thinner than my Trojan 20 and was wondering who or where I could send the barrels to ensure they were not polished too thin, and are safe for modern loads. Someone who specializes in fine old Parkers.

There are a number of qualified folks who could evaluate your barrels. Where are you located?

Maybe thinner due to different chokes.? Not that thickness at the muzzle means much anyway.

If you feel comfortable shipping Bachelder gunsmiths is an excellent choice, I sent a set of Damascus tubes out to be checked and couldn't been more pleased with the help and response I got!

I currently live in Northern California. I lived in upstate New York years ago and DelGrego was one that came to mind for doing fine work with Parkers. I will call them Monday and see if they are backed up.
