Nice collection of Baltimore Arms Guns, Dave. Especially hard to find are the higher grades...... the Trap model and D grade. They reportedly manufactured a total of only approximately 6,000 guns over a very few years. 😊

I've recorded 50 Baltimore Arms Co. guns with serial numbers from 1022 to 7053. I've recorded four D-Grades with Damascus barrels, and there was a steel barrel gun with the sculpting of a D-Grade but no engraving on the metal or checkering on the wood. It made a regular appearance at the MACA show in the 1990s. Its serial number was 5651, right between two Damascus barrel 1904 Model D-Grades 5650.D and 5652.D. The other two D-Grades are I've recorded are 1902 Models 1732.D and 1735.D.

I've only recorded two Trap Guns. My Trap Gun and the one consecutively serial numbered to it, that was pictured in McIntosh's Fox book, and subsequently passed through Tim Sheldon and later Jay Schacter. They are 1902 models. Both have been restocked and I have to say mine is better, done by the late Bill Harvey of Colora, Maryland. I still have the original stock for mine that Bill used as a pattern after building up the area where a big chunk was missing along the right side of the top tang.
