New Parker owner from Indiana
3 Attachment(s)
Hello,
I am new to Parker brothers shotguns. Received a VH model from my father for Xmas. He has a few of them and we are looking into more info and research on them. From what I have found out so far, I have a VH model 12ga, sn #149712, 1909 production. Frame size 2, 30" barrels. It appears the original dogs head butt plate was replaced with a white line by pachmayr. Found some info on those but not sure when it was added or if it's worth trying to change it. Looking forward to learning more info on here. Added some pictures of the stock and butt plate. |
Hello Aaron. It looks like there are surviving factory records for your gun. You should join the pgcta and order a research letter, you never know what you might find out. I too am from Indiana, Southeastern Indiana to be more specific. Whereabouts are you located in the Hoosier State?

Hey Randy, I plan on doing that. Curious to know more about it. I'm in northwest Indiana.

That is a decent piece of wood for a VH. Usually the VH had absolutely board plain wood. This one has a little bit of figure in it.

Aaron, congratulations on your “new” Parker. Please do consider join our Association…and attend one of our events.

I just signed up for membership actually!
