That is very nice, beautiful work! Forrest is this a project for you? Gary

Thanks Gary, yes, 2nd unfinished repro Bob has done for me. He is engraving the breeches to match and sending to Classic Guns for case colors & blue. He is adept at many styles: www.resengraving.com

Met Bob for the first time at the NE SXS. Both he and Gournet were there. Both are amazingly nice folks. Genuine to the core for sure. To say they are master engravers is probably not descriptive enough. They can help formulate a plan of action, draw designs and then put that design to metal. On top of that, IMO as compared to others out there they are reasonable in cost and turn out work fairly quickly. Two thumbs up for both of them.

Both offer quick turnaround and both are masters at different styles. Bob is a little slower because he is still recovering from Lymes. If you are after an authentic Parker pattern, Geoff is the guy. He is also extremely good at Bulino & game scenes. I specifically asked Bob to do scroll patterns of his own design. He excels at medium scroll & acanthus IMO but can also do it all.

Bob did the engraving on Gunner's Gun.

Very nice, Forrest. My only criticism is how conspicuously he signed his name.

You actually don't notice it much when the trigger guard is in place. That's exactly where he signed my custom fox and he also included the date there as well.

It's the same with Gunner's gun you don't notice it at all really.
