New Member Needs Advice On 1929(?) SxS

Greetings
Happy to be here. My dad has a shotgun that I believe is a 1929 SxS. It has some scars but has perfect function. I recently got it and cleaned it up telling him that I would try to figure out how to possibly restore it and how much it is worth. With luck, the photos will upload and someone can get me started in the right direction. I would appreciate the help. It hasn’t had much use over the years and I’m grateful that it resides in a pretty dry environment otherwise I think that it would have been hammered by rust. Thank you in advance. This is my first post so if I am in the wrong place for this topic please let me know.

Your Parker is a Trojan, the lowest ‘grade’ that Parker made though it is beneath the 0-grade.
Lets see pictures of the whole gun, the stock, butt plate, forend, muzzles, top rib at the muzzle, frame, both sides and the floor plate.

You might be ill-advised to restore it at all.

From the pics you posted, looks to be a decent condition Parker Trojan, as previously stated, I'd be very aprehensive to "restore" it. If for no other reason, the gun would never be worth what you invested to restore it, and also because it's a family gun, I'd hate to remove it's history with sand paper, etc.

From the pictures it looks like you have a good condition Trojan, I would leave it alone and just enjoy shooting it.
