Fifty Parkers at the show in Kansas City

Randy Davis, Russ Lindsay and myself were local, Todd Kaltenbach and Tom Wooden flew in from Houston, Dick Dow flew from LA area, Ed Morgan from Galena Ill, Charlie Herzog from below St Louis.

Larry Potterfield brought his nickle plated Parker, plated inside and out.

Ed and Tom sold lots of raffle tickets.

Had all grades. Two A grade small bores.

Great dinners, one at B B's Lawnside Barbeque for hot blues and barbeque, another at the Smoke Stack, joined by Marvin and Kathy Huey and Saint Marilyn.

Charlie showing off his new arm tattoo.

Finally, Charlie and Tom with Delmar Smith.

Bruce, can you tell us anything about the lifter with the large shield on the side of the buttstock? I imagine there is a story there.

Thanks for what you guys do out there each year. Would love to make it at least once.

My wife and I were able to make the show Sat. There were some beautiful Parkers displayed. I was able to spend some time meeting and talking to Bruce and Russ. I thoroughly enjoyed talking to these knowledgeable gentlemen.

Thanks again.

The gun with the shield in the stock was a $65 grade built and presented in 1875. I bought the gun from Allan Swanson a year or 2 ago. He may remember some of the history.
